We tested the Snyder Tour golf ball using our standardized golf ball testing protocol. Here are the averaged launch monitor results from our test. All testing was conducted using our published golf ball testing methodology and reflects controlled human testing.

Test Setup Overview

  • Launch Monitor: SkyTrak ST Max
  • Ball Tested: Snyder Tour
  • Testing Method: Human testing within defined swing speed and impact bands
  • Shots Recorded: 12 qualifying shots per club (best 8 used for averages)
  • Environment: Indoor

Swing Speed Bands Used

Our target swing speeds for ball testing are 93-97 mph for driver, 84-86 mph for 7-iron, and 55-57 mph for our 50-yard test. We accept small outliers on shots where all other variables meet the highest standards. These are the swing speed ranges we accepted for this test:

  • Driver: 92-95 MPH
  • 7-Iron: 83-86 MPH
  • 50-Yard: 55-58 MPH

Snyder Tour Performance Notes

As a direct-to-consumer ball fightint to compete against higher-priced, tour-issue options, the Snyder Tour held its own in our testing, particularly in our driver and 50-yard tests. Driver ball speed, spin, and distance all hovered right around the average of our dataset. Meanwhile, 50-yard launch, spin, and roll were also around or better than average. In our 7-iron test, the Snyder Tour churned out slightly less spin and more roll out than its top competition, while delivering a little more distance.
