Bogey golfer but scratch writer, Nick Heidelberger is the Editor of GolfLink and an active member of the Golf Writers Association of America (GWAA). The Moscow, Idaho native first picked up a golf club after earning a bachelor’s degree from the University of Idaho’s School of Journalism and Mass Media.
He covers all things golf and specializes in first-hand and data-driven golf product reviews. He has tested and reviewed nearly 50 products for GolfLink since 2022. Heidelberger has covered golf from all angles since 2017, when he began writing for Golf WRX and The Versed, and launched the At The Turn podcast. That led him to a stint as the communications manager for the New England Section of the PGA of America, where he visited – but did not play – some of the finest courses in the region and America, including Myopia Hunt, Eastward Ho!, Essex County Club, Shadow Creek, and Southern Highlands. Despite that, you’re more likely to find him hoofing a public track at twilight with a PBR than shelling out top dollar for an exclusive tee time.
