ECCO Releases BIOM H4 Erik van Rooyen Collection

The gap between traditional on-course style and off-course personality has been shrinking faster than ever in recent years. ECCO and PGA Tour player Erik van Rooyen have built one more bridge to traffic even more personality to the course.

The South African known for his high joggers and thick mustache, van Rooyen put his own flair into the partially redesigned ECCO Biom H4, with a tip of the cap to his off-the-course interests.

This encore to the BIOM H4 features all things golf, fashion, and music. Headphones, joggers, clubs, guitars, greens, and sunglasses adorn the red-to-blue gradient outsole and insole. The otherwise subtle black and white shoe depicts guitar strings on the heel tab and an understated pattern on the tongue. 

“I’m very excited to once again join forces with ECCO GOLF to create another signature edition style,” van Rooyen said. “The previous version that we created together was super cool, and I received plenty of compliments out on tour. I didn’t think it would be possible to top those, but with this new model I think we’ve done exactly that.”
