The Pinnacle Course and The Monument Course

On the top of any list of courses in Arizona is Scottsdale’s Troon North. Featuring two courses, The Pinnacle course is wonderfully designed and walkable, but many visitors prefer the spectacular desert views of The Monument course.

The Boulders features two unique desert courses that live up to its name. With boulders over 50 feet tall dotting the course, the South course gives some of the best views of any desert golf course in America. The Boulders is located in the town of Carefree.

 

 

We-Ko-Pa Golf Club

Another course located in the Scottsdale area, the We-Ko-Pa Golf Club provides two challenging courses snaking through the canyonlands of Central Arizona. Located on land owned by the Yavapai Nation,  We-Ko-Pa uses the desert geography to create unique wide-open courses.

Any list of courses in the Phoenix and Scottsdale region has to include the site of the Phoenix Open, the TPC Scottsdale. Home to the best attended golf tournament, this course features many interesting holes. While not boasting the same beautiful views as the other courses on this list, the TPC Scottsdale course is a must for fans of the PGA Tour who want their own chance to play the same course as the pros.

 

 

 

Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club

Located in the town of Maricopa, the Southern Dunes Golf Club might be overlooked by golfers visiting the region. But for those who know, the 7,300 yard course boasts one of the best courses in the area. Even better, Southern Dunes is much cheaper than its Phoenix and Scottsdale counterparts.
