The course was only in fair condition. I was expecting more the money. Good practice facility. There were other places in Scottsdale that were more challenging and cost less.

The starter sent five of us out at one time two married couples and me. It was just my bad luck. They were all nice people. Everyone was extremely nice in the club house.

If the course was not on TV it would not be worth playing, and TV is what you are paying for. In an area with many great courses this is not one of them. The condition was poor, it is a big number to play, and then they make you take a caddy whose job it is to make sure you play fast not to help you around the track. Without the stands the 16th is nothing more than a nine iron par three. Play it once, but of the 16 people in our group nobody wants to go back.

Played October 28, 2010. Course just out of overseeding, not in as good of condition as other "lesser" Scottsdale area courses. Bunkers were like mud not sand. Fairways patchy. Greens good but not great. Not a value at $189 per round. Play elsewhere unless you need to say you played a PGA course.

Lots of better values in Scottsdale, but it was an experience. Stadium hole was not built. I would not play there in the peak season. Not worth $275, but well worth $75 in the summer. They also offered me a package to play the Champions course also for around $120 for both rounds, but I saw even more value in "discovering" golf courses in Scottsdale on my own.

My husband, myself and a friend played this course in June 09. It was 108 degrees but, we are from Tennessee so we had to play it while we had the chance. They warned us that it wasn't in the best of condition because it was off season but, the only thing that we noticed was that the fairways were a little dry and sparse. Sand was deep and well cared for (what makes that interesting is that most Phoenix courses shouldn't call it sand, it is more like concrete with some gravel on top). Greens were nice and there was some nice grassy areas. Every other course we have played out here (about 6 so far) the ground has been rock hard with very little grass.

This is a fun course to play. They have several landmarks such as the rock that fans picked up and moved out of Tiger's way during a tournament. The landscaping is lovely. The staff is very kind. We had a ranger bring us all mango scented icy wet towels. It cost us 73 dollars each for 18 holes, cart and range balls. It is a nice place and not a bad price to say you played a PGA course. We didn't think it was all that difficult though, which is fine with us.

Overall, a very good time.

Nice design with plenty of interesting holes and options off the tee. Fun finishing group of holes - 15 is great par 5, 16 will leave you scratching your head, looking around going "this is THAT hole", but still the rest of your 4-some booing/cheering depending upon the success of your tee-shot, 17 is great short par 4 and 18 is fun off the back tees, with the clubhouse directly behind the green.

Play the correct tees for your skill level, and you can leave here with a great feeling of having "handled" a PGA Tour site - play the tips before quitting your day-job!

If you play this course in the summer, BE WARNED, it will look and play a little (sometimes very) tired! That said, given the great rates that can be had in the summer, I'd still recommend this course - especially if you've never played here before. One pleasant surprise of a summer round is the excellence of the staff, who seem to fare much better than the greens in the desert heat - kudos to the TPC for that.

A little overpriced outside of the summer months.

Played this course twice two years apart. Both times it was in very poor condition. First time it was the greens, worse than a low end public course. Most recently it was the fairways. The worst course conditions I have ever played. They appologized, but frankly it was near theft to take my money for this horror of a course. If you're not playing in the PGA event they don't seem to care.

Overrated. Average course that is kept in good condition. It is only dificult when they let the rough grow out the month's prior to the tournament. There are many better options in the same price range in the Scottsdale area.

Great Course but a little overpriced. Employees on the course are very nice, employees in clubhouse are snobish.
