I played this course yesterday and found it in good shape except for the tee boxes. It is a very tight course and not meant for wayward shots.

The course runs through row-home housing which contributes to it's lack of scenery. It is also a very tight course on nearly every hole thus upping the difficulty. If you have any sort of trouble off the tee I would not recommend this course. One of the holes does have a powerline pole right in the middle of it. Overall it's a decent course though.

Beautiful course to play during the fall while the leaves are turning colors. I love the downhill par 3's on this course. Keep your shots strait or your hitting from trees.

just played it today. tremendous improvement. greens were excellent, held approach shots and fairly quick putting. fairways were decent, roughs were a little high. course suited for straight shooters, as it is very tight with fairways, and even some condos or apartments are easily in the firing range, unless trees block the shots. the small 3 hole putting green, at least is the owner's sincere effort to aid golfers. very reasonably priced, and although the course is short, the tight fairways and quick, and in some cases very sloped greens(nos 3,6, 7, 14, and 18) make the course a challenge for the skilled players.

previous comment last year:
three's a crowd on its putting green. course has been neglected or butchered in their maintenance chief's attempt to aerate the greens. uneven cuts makes putting a challenge. bare spots and uneven grass cuts removes putting from the golf experience.
It was a challenging and different layout, with some very tight fairways, and risk/reward holes. but the maintenance budget is abominable. choose a driving range over this course

Do not play this course. The greens are the worst I have ever seen. Most have bare spots. The rest have bumps and crevices your ball could get lost in. The firways are almost as bad. No real maintenance to speak of. It should be plowed over and more houses built there. If it was free I would not play there again.

Not too much to say about this course....tight. It's just kinda blahh to me. Enjoy yourself...aim at the houses...haha...just kidding.

Flying Hills offers a very courteous staff and beautiful scenery. I like the narrow fairways, the most, because they help to sharpen my game, however, I learned not to become too attached to my favorite balls because the brush loves them more! I enjoy the challenge the course offers and will continue to play here. The hills really are the greatest challenge to judging distance.

A very tight course, being that it plays through the Flying Hills condos and apartment community. So if hitting someones house sticks in the back of your head during your backswing, this will test you. The staff was very friendly assisting me with some questions(mostly curiosity about the course), and the 19th hole was the best hole for me after a day of "not so straight" drives.
