Played this course yesterday. I found it in great shape. The greens were very firm. A little short on length, but you had to place your shots carefully due to many water hazards. I recommend the course have better yardage markers along the fairways for the new players.

Been playing here for a few years now. The course is in really good shape. It is easy to walk. While not a long course it demands placement, placement, placement. Water is in play often and blasting the driver is not always optimal unless you are a long bomb hitter off the tee. SO it makes you think about your game which I like. Staff is friendly and rates are reasonable. I would recommend this golf course

Viewing the course from the clubhouse area, I wasn't overly impressed with Chapel Hill. Not a long course, I soon learned that length did in fact matter. On the front nine, water comes into play on a number of holes and you must decide whether to "bang" your drive or lay up. Making the right decision (as always) is beneficial and makes the course rather easy. The course has some nice holes once you get into your round. The Par 4 11th has a pretty dog-leg right and the Par 4 12th is certainly the signature hole on the course...also a dog-leg right. The Par 3 13th is a drastic downhill making club selection a tough decision. The severe uphill Par 3 17th is very tough with little room off the green to work with. This is a course that grew on me as the round progressed and I'm glad I made the stop during a four hour drive to play.

Pleasurable round of golf, good condition, some nice scenic holes.
