Ok course, most hole layouts are nice, good condition, but holes are too close together - you can get hit very easily. Snack bar & pro shop are very out dated. Cost too much when compared to every other course near by.

I found Sportsmans to be an enjoyable experience. I'm a fairly new golfer (less than 10 times out). The course was in good condition on this date. Even a terrible player such as myself didn't lose any balls, so possibly not challenging for more seasoned players. Price was excellent at $28 to ride. Very scenic, the monster 600+ hole in the back 9 is a hole that sticks in my mind. Make sure you pay attention to where you are going, paths aren't marked very well. Only real complaint would be that there were doing to digging in the middle of one of the fairways.

There seems to be a saturation of golf courses in this vicinity with two private courses nearby. There are some nice views of the mountains, but few memorable holes on this course. The course wasn't in fabulous shape but playable. I thought the Par 4 8th hole had an attractive tee-shot with trees to the left protecting against my normal fade. The Par 4 11th and 12th holes are the most scenic and both are challenging...the rest of the back nine pretty open with water involved with your tee shot on 16. i found the course challenging enough but except for a few holes, nothing stands out.

This is the course I go to almost every weekend and its not so bad besides no water at any holes. It is good for a challenge and is pretty well kept.

Waste of time and money. Course has no rangers. Play is slow. Course has no facilities to speak of. One job johnie and no drinking water due to insurance. Yeah sure. Time to make way for another high end development. This course will not have many patrons left if they don't start making some changes to keep the player happy.

Course is not taken care of

No drinking water on course- 90 degree weather. Runoff cutting through course without drainage culverts or ditches. Sand may as well be Sakrete. Don't leave the fairway- ever. You may not find your ball. Overpriced snack bar.
