Nice, fairly straight, easy course. Good for beginners or to practice your medium-short game. Never really that crowded and fun to play a relaxing 9-hole round.

Paint Branch is basically a Par 3 course on steroids; with wide fairways and minimal danger it is a great place to take your friend who has learned the game within the past year, or to fine tune aspects of your game if you are short on time. It features three par-4's, one of which, at under 250 yards, should be a consistent birdie hole. Be aware that if the course is wet they will not allow electric cart use, so be prepared to walk. Their pull-carts are really, really old, and do not have straps to secure your bag, so remember to bring your own, if you have one. All of that being said, the course is not truly easy, as the rough tends to be deep and thick, and if you hit into trouble (like the creek that runs parallel to two of the par 4's), it can get sticky. A good course for people relatively new to the game, but a bit too hard for a true beginners, and a good way to work on your short game for 90 minutes.

This a nice little course but not to difficult. It is my course of play since it is very close to home. It is also a very cheap course but one can get better deals in nearby course.

As we began our round, I noticed cylinders of dirt covering every square inch of the fairway. I presumed them to be from a recent aeration done to the course, and proceeded to play my ball as it lay. However, when I noticed the wildlife surrounding the course grounds, I soon realized they were goose feces. Hundreds upon thousands of goose droppings took up more room on the fairway then actual grass. Next, as we got on the first green, my playing partner pulled the pin, and I began to line up my putt. As I gave one last look towards the hole, I was suddenly thrown off - the pin had been standing upright in another part of the green. Unbeknownst to me, he had placed the pin in another hole, on the same green! Two holes on each green, now that's how golf was meant to be played.
