I'm not sure if the other reviewers were playing a different course than I or things have changed in the past several years. I doubt it.
First time at Polo Fields. I really enjoyed the course. The course did not seem to be 'tight' at all. Played in mid July after two weeks of 100degree heat and the course was extremely lush. The fairways were soft, the rough was perfect and the greens were exceptional. I can't remember one "burn" spot on any green. They rolled true and smooth.
Oh yeah, I'm not member and neither was my partner. I purchased a "Living Social" deal and the staff were extremely nice to us.

The course has been around for several years and typically after new courses get some play and they tend to "wear in" and settle. Not this one. It's awkwardness is probably because they built this course AFTER they built the subdivision and the holes snake through the homes. WE GOT LOST.

Challenging as all get out - very tight. If you can't hit straight, don't even drive by it.

The clubhouse is beautiful and plush; great food and cold beverages.

Overall value - there are municipal and other semi-private courses that are just as nice for less than half the cost; don't waste your dollars.

Polo Fields

A fun, but challengeing course. Keep the ball in the fairway and you should have fun, but the rough can be tricky at times. With narrow fairways, and difficult pin locations, the amateur golfer may have a hard time, but once you play it once you will want to come back again and again.

Service is great, and the amenities are good.
An A- overall.
