Red Hawk Golf Course


The 9-hole "Red Hawk" course at the White Hawk Country Club facility in Crown Point, Indiana features 3,515 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. Designed by Timothy P. Nugent, ASGCA/Richard P. Nugent, ASGCA, the Red Hawk golf course opened in 1998. Anthony Lopez-Alexander manages the course as the General Manager.

I made my reservation on 8/24 and asked if there was anything going on (tournaments, outings, etc). I was advised that there were 2 different member tournaments but they would be finished teeing off by noon. Little to my surprise, I arrived and noticed a 181 person golf outing. I was told by staff that I couldn't get a cart because of the outing and I should of planned ahead. Finally got a cart at about 1:45 and after making it to the first tee, found myself waiting for 4 groups to tee off. Ridiculous. There were several people there that golf the course regularly and they were extremely unhappy with the way everyone was treated. Very poor business on White Hawks part. The course was not as nice as I thought but the problems with the outing and the staff made it very unpleasant. First and last time at this course....... Golfers beware.
