The 9-hole "Black Bear" course at the Bear Trap Dunes facility in Ocean View, Delaware features 3,460 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. Designed by Richard Jacobson, ASGCA, the Black Bear golf course opened in 2001. Troon Golf manages this facility, with Tim O'Neill as the General Manager.

Very enjoyable round on Father's Day. Our only issue was we had the first tee time at 6:30AM. We played the first nine and when we made the turn a fore-some was just teeing off. No one had been in front of us all day until then. I agree that you have to utilize the course but we made the early tee time so we would not have slow play and wait times, which unfortunately we did.
