I am new out here in California and havnt played any SoCal courses but Arrowood was a great opener. I was blown away by how beautiful the course was and how they worked it into the hill side. Hitting the ball relativley strait is a must otherwise you will be confronted with a "danger rattle snakes" sign. Good thing I hit it strait. The course has a nice country club feel and you can get some resonable twilight rates to keep your wallet happy. I just wish they had a bar to relax at after the round. The long and short of it, I was impressed and will go back again without a doubt.

Beautiful spectacularly maintained course. Not the most fun design as many holes are quirky. A little put off by staff for giving us a hard time about having 2 sets of clubs in one bag (we were on vacation), when the real reason the course slows down was the walkers since some of the holes are far apart. Not worth more than the $40 for twilight rates.

The course is a bit expensive for the area but the weather is cooler most of the year. Greens are good but speed is tough to figure. The layout is good most holes have ob to the right. The last 4 holes are a bad design
they are to long when the wind blows which is most of the time.

I have now played this course twice and found it challenging and enjoyable. You have to manage your game here. This is a great play to play.

We are a golfing family and have played at Arrowood many times. It is a very beautiful course and well maintained. The staff is WONDERFUL!!!

Very poorly managed! Recently had a 5.5 hour round because of a tournament scheduled on a Saturday. They then lied and claimed there was a frost delay.

Arrowood Is a Fun Course

It requires a different approach to your game. I think of it as a links style course. There's several holes that require your complete attention & if you're not careful you could end up with some nasty double & triple bogeys. The staff is great at Arrowood. The starters take the time to make sure that the first timer understands the course. My only complaint is their fake grass putting green.
