"the goat" I have been practicing/playing at the goat for over a year now the course plays tough for the size, but if your on your game you can put up some good numbers. the greens are in the best shape they have ever been in. the practice facility has a nice chipping/putting area. all the staff is very friendly and helpful. you cant find a beter deal in north county.

Center City Golf Course, or "Goat Hill" as most of the people who play there call it, is a great local golf facility. I live about 15 minutes down the road and I find myself there about 3 or 4 times a week. The practice area is great. They have two putting greens which are in great shape, a bunker with its own green, a great chipping area, and a driving range where you actually get to hit off of "real grass" and not those horrible mats. The course is a par 66 which is much harder than any executive type golf course around, but doesn't have the full length of a par 72 course. Overall, it is very challenging for all skill levels. They have three sets of tees, the greens are in great shape and the elements are always changing when you are playing that close to the ocean. The people who play their are the best, as well the employees in the pro shop and out on the course who are all super friendly. Besides all of this, "The Goat" is one of the most reasonably priced golf courses I know, and you can always walk right on without a tee time. Hope to see some new faces out there soon...Cheers!

Its frustrating when your best drives of the day end up middle of the fairway, in a large patch of hard dirt. They need to get grass in this place and it would be a great course. Fun greens, good challenge.

This course has got a great practice area where you can hit balls off REAL GRASS at the range. It is by no means the longest course but offers some difficult par threes as well as some shorter par fours to make up for those double-bogeys. Not the magnet for aristocrats, but a place where people come together for the love of the game. The local pros couldn't be nicer and everybody's attitude is great; that mixed with the best deal I have seen for a round of golf keeps me coming back and will keep you going to Center City Golf course too!

master this course and your score will drop dramatically everywhere else. the greens are greatly improved and a couple of them are as difficult as any in the county. It's target golf at it's best and you would be hard pressed to find a better value anywhere in the county.....period. try it, you'll be amazed and want to come back to "master the goat."

This not a great course, even thou it is very cheap its still a shame to encourage them. I played it again because a guy told me it had gotten better, WRONG! The layout is lame the par threes are long and the par fours are short, the greens are slow and the traps are rock hard. The layout is about 25% dirt. I cant think of a good thing to say about goat hill as the locals call it and I won my match on it, maybe its so bad its tuff?
