We tested the Vice Pro golf balls using our standardized golf ball testing protocol. Find out how it performed from tee to green in our driver, 7-iron, and 50-yard wedge test.

All testing was conducted using our published golf ball testing methodology and reflects controlled human testing.

Test Setup Overview

  • Launch Monitor: SkyTrak ST Max
  • Ball Tested: Vice Pro
  • Testing Method: Human testing within defined swing speed and impact bands
  • Shots Recorded: 12 qualifying shots per club (best 8 used for averages)
  • Environment: Indoor

Vice Pro Performance Notes

The Vice Pro showed a neutral profile in our testing. Compared to the dozens of other golf balls we've tested, it produced mid launch in all three tests: driver, 7-iron, and 50-yard wedge shot. The spin profile followed a predictable trend for the most part, landing in the often-desireable "low-spin" category with driver yet a "mid-spin" label in our 50-yard wedge test.

The lone area where one coud argue the spin profile deviated from an optimal neutral profile was in our 7-iron test, where it fell into the low-spin category, which typically increases distance at the expense of stopping power. Accordingly, Vice Pro is one of the very longest balls in our iron test. That makes Vice Pro a strong option for players who prioritize distance through the bag.
