First Look: Vice Golf Drops $199 Zero Torque Putter
Vice Golf puts its own twist on ZT

Vice Golf has brought its signature golfer-friendly pricing to the notoriously expensive zero torque putter category. Vice dropped three new putters, including two ZT styles and one for as little as $199.
Here’s what we know about the new VGP03ZT, VGP04ZT and VGP03 putters (yes, those are putter names, not license plate numbers) from Vice Golf.
Key Details at a Glance
- Release Date: March 16, 2026
- Price: $189 - $239
- Category: ZT Blade (VGP03ZT); ZT Mallet (VGP04ZT); Toe Flow Blade (VGP03)
What’s New
The “ZT” in the two new Vice Golf Putters (hence VGP) actually stands for “Zero Twist” not “Zero Torque” but we’re putting them into the larger zero torque category.
Vice’s Zero Twist design aligns the shaft axis through the putter head’s center of mass. That allows the head to naturally stay square to the path through the stroke, improving accuracy.
VGP03ZT

The new lineup gives players two affordable ZT styles to choose from. The VGP03ZT is a heel-shafted blade putter with a unique hosel design that allows for Vice’s Zero Twist technology to keep the head stable through the stroke. At $199, the VGP03ZT is easily one of the most affordable ZT putters of 2026.
VGP04ZT

The VGP04ZT, meanwhile, looks more like a “traditional” zero torque putter (the irony of the word traditional in the relatively new category of zero torque putters is not lost on me) in that it’s an onset, center-shafted mallet.
However, as a fang-style mallet adorned with Vice’s bright highlights, it still stands out from the crowd. The VGP04ZT follows its Vice’s friendly pricing structure as well, checking in at $239.
VGP03

Vice also dropped its version of a classic blade putter, the VGP03. This is the ideal option of the three for players with an arced putting stroke who prefer the putter face to naturally rotate open and closed through the stroke.
It’s also the most affordable option at $189.
Who It’s For
The new lineup of Vice Golf putters offers something for almost everyone. Players shopping the ZT category who don’t want to spend $400-plus get two great new options.
Meanwhile, traditionalists who prefer the natural opening and closing of a putter get a sleek new affordable blade putter to consider.
Our Take
The ZT putter category has exploded in the last 18 months. It’s gone from just a couple brands with a few funky designs to more brands with slightly less funky designs.
But they were all expensive.
Credit to PXG for dropping arguably the first really good ZT putter under $250 in 2025, the Hellcat ZT, which opened the door for others to follow.
Vice’s entry into the category accomplishes two things. It makes this once-exclusive category of putters available to more players, thanks to Vice’s affordable pricing.
It also gives players more styles to choose from. Beyond just the blade-or-mallet options that Vice introduced today, it brings Vice’s distinct style to the category that hasn’t exactly been known for sleek designs up to this point.
