Bushnell Tour V7 Shift: Hands-On Preview & Accuracy Test
See what Bushnell's latest rangefinder has to offer

The modern crop of premium rangefinders simply obliterate rangefinder capabilities from just a couple years ago. The latest and greatest from Bushnell, the new Tour V7 Shift, is a prime example.
We got our hands on the new Bushnell Tour V7 Shift. Here’s what we can tell you so far.
How We Have Tested the Bushnell Tour V7 Shift (So Far)

The Bushnell Tour V7 Shift dropped in February, 2026. With winter still lingering as of this publication, we don’t (yet) have access to a golf course to perform our complete rangefinder testing and write a thorough performance-based review.
However, we’ve tested it out and compared it to units that we’ve verified first-hand to be accurate within inches.
In other words, we’ve done enough tinkering to get a clear picture of what this rangefinder is capable of, but not enough to publish a thorough performance review.

What’s New With Bushnell Tour V7 Shift

The Bushnell Tour V7 Shift is different from the latest batch of connected rangefinders that pull in GPS distances.
Rather than incorporating GPS distances, it pairs via Bluetooth to the Bushnell Golf app. For players who have MyBag setup, the rangefinder the displays personalized club recommendations (right in the display) that pair the distance to your target with your own personal club distances as tracked by a Bushnell or Foresight launch monitor and the current weather conditions in your location.
That’s pretty daggum nifty.
The Tour V7 Shift also introduces Bushnell's Slope First Technology, which gives the slope-adjusted distance center stage while the true distance owns a smaller chunk of real estate in the display.
Here’s a more detailed look at the suite of specs and features that the Tour V7 Shift offers:
- Display: OLED
- Slope: Slope First Technology
- Power source: CR-2 battery
- Slope on/off: Yes
- Magnet: BITE magnetic mount
- Waterproof: Yes (IPX6)
- Magnification: 6x
- Range: 5-1,300 yards
- Flag Lock: Pinseeker with visual JOLT
- Warranty: 2 years

Best Golf Rangefinders (Tested & Ranked)
Accuracy

Without golf courses open in my area, I took the new Bushnell Tour V7 Shift around the neighborhood, along with another rangefinder which I’ve personally verified to be accurate within inches, and measured various utility poles, street signs, and other posts.
Not surprisingly, the Bushnell unit matched the accuracy-verified unit flawlessly.
Through the transitive property of rangefinder accuracy, it passed the test. We’ll put it through our official accuracy test in a pre-measured environment soon, but given the early indicator and Bushnell’s stout reputation in this area, we have little doubt that it will turn in high marks.
MyBag Integration

The Tour V7 Shift is capable of delivering personalized club recommendations right to the rangefinder’s display, but Bushnell’s MyBag feature actually offers a lot more than that. Let’s check it out.
For starters, the only way to tap into the MyBag integration is to create a MyBag profile using a compatible Bushnell or Foresight launch monitor.
That fact alone creates a hurdle that many players will never clear. Sure, more players have launch monitor access now than ever before, but it’s far from every player. Furthermore, not just any launch monitor will do, the MyBag integration only works with select Foresight and Bushnell devices. That, in my opinion, crushes the number of players who can take advantage of this feature. Which is too bad, because it’s really cool.
I completely understand that manually inputting data is more likely to lead to players creating a profile of their longest shots ever with every club than a true representation of where they actually hit them, but I’d rather have that option and lay in the bed that I make than not be able to utilize this feature altogether.
Moving past that barrier, MyBag is really powerful.
It doesn’t just give personalized club recommendations that are based on your actual distances, but it can incorporate current temperatures and wind speed and direction forecasts into those recommendations.
When you grab the Bushnell Golf App, you can take it even further. The hole maps display your personal dispersions with various clubs on the map so you can see which club gives you the very best chance of success on every shot.
Who It's For
The Bushnell Tour V7 Shift is an interesting device to recommend, because even the segment of players who won’t take advantage of one of it’s most powerful features can still really benefit from everything else it’s capable of.
If you have access to a Foresight or Bushnell launch monitor, and you want to take advantage of club recommendations that incorporate your personal distances plus current weather conditions, it’s a no-brainer.
Beyond the MyBag integration, the Tour V7 Shift is a premium rangefinder, and still appeals to serious players. The accuracy is bang-on, the OLED display is as crisp as it gets, and with the JOLT flag lock feature, you never have to second-guess whether you’re locked onto your target.
Our Early Thoughts
My initial takeaway after eary testing is that the Tour V7 Shift has a lot to offer every golfer, but the group who can pair its rangefinder capabilities with MyBag integration via a Foresight or Bushnell launch monitor can get a lot more out of it.
It wasn’t long ago that the only premium features rangefinders offered were a strong cart magnet and a slope on/off switch. I actually thought the category was capped, but thankfully visionaries much wiser than I are leading the charge of modern rangefinders.
The result is modern rangefinders that know our game, and can help us make better decisions on the course.
Where to Buy
