How to Get $5 Rounds of Junior Golf with Youth on Course

Youth on Course is an organization designed to get kids ages 6-18 on the golf course for cheap rounds of golf. The group believes that the game of golf can be used to teach youth important lessons in perserverence and provide a positive environment for personal development. The group has paired with over 1,200 courses to offer Youth on Course members with rounds of golf for $5 or less. It all works quite simply, youth sign up through the organization’s website and pay a membership corresponding with their region. Membership prices vary based on region from between $10-$30 per year. After joining, each youth will receive a Youth on Course membership card they can use to bring to participating courses during designated times to play rounds for $5. A full map showing participating courses is available here

In addition to cheap golf, Youth on Course also offers opportunities for youth to gain valuable experience by working as a youth caddie. Earning $50 per round plus tips, Youth on Course caddies are free to work as little or as much as they’d like while gaining valuable work experience and golfing knowledge. For golfers in Northern California, paid internships are also available and the organization is looking to expand the program nationwide in the near future. The organization also awards over $250,000 in scholarships for members going on to college.
