European Tour

Challenge Tour

Boyd opened the 2009 season with a four-shot victory at the Tusker Kenyan Open. He's had two other Top 10 finishes--2nd at the Piemonte Open and T6 at the Scottish Hydro Challenge, through July. Boyd finished 29th on the Challenge Tour Order of Merit (money list) in 2008, including four Top 10 finishes. Though he did not win in 2008, Boyd finished 2nd at the DHL Wroclaw Open and 77 Abierto VISA del Centro 2008 presentado por Personal.

Amateur Career

He was selected Northamptonshire Sport Local Sportsman of the Year in 2006. In 2007, Boyd shot a course-record 64 at Royal Cinque Ports during English Amateur Qualifying.

Born on October 4, 1986, in Banbury, England, Boyd is a rabid Manchester United soccer fan. He currently resides in Middleton Cheney, England. Asked in European Tour Q&A what his dream foursome would be, Boyd responded: Tiger Woods, Megan Fox and Eva Mendes.
