Played 6/17/2012. The course itself was in average to slightly above condition, but everything else was rundown/poorly maintained. Greens are small like most older courses. Seemed to play much harder than the slope and rating indicate, but maybe that was because I lost a ball on each of the first three holes. Navigation was difficult in places because the course is very poorly marked.

dirty not well kept!!! used to be so nice,. now trash on the coures. So much goose poop you cant even putt without a pooper scooper.

I agree with a previous poster that the 2nd whole fairway slope is ridiculous. Aside from that the front nine is great to play but the back nine is much tighter. For the money, it's not a bad deal.

I am new to the game and I love this course because it challenges me at every turn. I have to think about what I am doing, and ... from my scorecard... I have a lot more thinking to do!

First off...played this course at the right time and had it to myself. The front nine of this course is as lovely a front nine that I've played in over 50 courses in the Mid-Atlantic. Water comes into serious play on the first three holes though #2's fairway slopes too seriously towards the water- that with my fade, it rolled from the left rough, across the fairway and into the water. There wasn't a hole I didn't enjoy on the front! The back nine felt cramped and didn't have a smooth lay-out feeling to it. It was like playing an entirely different golf course. The front nine is an absolute play but the back...slighly disappointing. Staff very friendly and conditions were fine for late May.
