Prairie Lakes Golf Course, Grand Prairie, TX

What an awesome course!! Played the course for the first time Wednesday and enjoyed it so much returned Sunday to play it again. We paid $38 to play on a Sunday which was well worth it. The fairway and greens were in great shape plus the three holes that make up the triangle are very fun and challenging. The white course is a must play and don’t forget to try the barbeque in the grill which is great. I plan to play this course at least once a month.

The white course is the most water-hazard course out of the 3. This course plays out to the lake and along it for several holes. There is a water hazard on nearly every hole on this course. A particular set of holes called "the triangle" has one par 3 that requires a shot over water with the wind from the lake whipping in your face. The next is a longer hole with no rough but water on both sides of the fairway, and the final hole with water along one entire side of the hole. The course overall is amazing, with a full restuarant attached to the clubhouse with great food and even better prices. One unique feature about this course is that there are no sand traps. To make up for that, and besides all of the water hazards, the area around the green is very hilly, where sand traps would be if they had them.
