Blue Golf Course


The 9-hole "Blue" course at the Prairie Lakes Golf Course facility in Grand Prairie, Texas features 3,308 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. Designed by Ralph M. Plummer, ASGCA/(R) John Colligan, ASGCA, the Blue golf course opened in 2006. Bert Walker manages the course as the Golf Professional.

The course was in great shape and the greens are some of the best in the DFW area. For example, the greens at Prairie Lakes were in better condition than the Tribute which I played a week earlier but that is another story. Because of the three nine holes of golf, the course was not busy so I didn’t feel rushed and is the best value in the city. I paid less than $40 for an early Sunday tee time and the food (barbeque) was great. I plan to play this course at least once a month because I enjoyed my outing very much.
