The course is in great shape considering the former ownership had let it fall apart. The new ownership has completely renovated the course and the atmosphere is very laid back. The Gold Tees play over 7,200 yards and is a nice challenge for single-handicappers as well as a great opportunity to hit your long irons and woods throughout the day. Lengthy Par 3's and 5's are a nice challenge as well.

If you haven't played this course in a while you should give it a try, the new owners have worked their @$!*% off to bring this course back and have done a really great job. these are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet and you cant beat the price. If you need a country club experience go somewhere else but if your looking for a nice hassle fee day of golf at a good price this is the place.

Owners have been working hard to be bring this course back, since the drought a few years back. The greens are rolling good and I look forward to the grass turning green to see what we have.

I would give this facility a very much improved grade.

Keep it up Creekview!

For the price it's not too bad of a course. Some greens and fairways need quite a bit of work but some holes are pretty decent. Wide open course with quite a bit of water to deal with. Can get pretty windy there.

I used to play this course all the time, however, it appears like they may have fired the maintenance crew. It shows lack of watering on the fairway and the greens. Actually the only way to tell the difference between the greens and the bunkers is that the greens are flat. Dirt and vegitation are plentiful in both. I would stay away until they get their act together.

I took a girl out here for a first date since she was into golf... The conditions were horrible. I’ve seen more vegetation on the side of a mountain.. Needless to say I am no longer dating the girl.. :( so if you want to keep a healthy relationship stay away from this course!!

I began playing this course in March of 2008. At this point the course was in great shape. Particularly the greens. Due to a lack of water and daily maintenance it is now in horrible condition. Don't waste your time or money.

I live 5 minutes from this course and have played it for years. It has completely gone to crap in the last few months. The greens are 70-80% dirt. The bunkers are filled with knee high grass. The rough is a pasture with knee high grass and the fairways are not much better. I would not pay a dime to play this course in it's current condition. I'll drive 20 or 30 minutes to play on an actual golf course.

Ten of us drove drove down to this course about 15 miles from down town Dallas.
We all agreed this was the best day of golf we have had this year. Great staff, cold beer and Champion burmuda greens (really large greens 8000-10000 sqft) putted true.
These green must be running 10-12.
Cant make this run from Mckinney every day but will try for at least 2-3 times a month.

The course was in good shape despite the heavy rains. The greens putted true. I had no problem with the course except that I could not find at least three tee boxes due to the lack of directional signs. The cart paths intersect in several places which makes it essential to have directional signs pointing out the next tee box. The pro shop staff was nice and friendly. However, I had to go over to the grill to buy a Coca Cola. All in all, the experience was good and I will probably return to the course the next time I am in the area.

Nice course, set up quite tight. Fairways in good shape for the middle of winter, so were greens. More directionals would be nice, club house attendant did give good directions before the round. Very friendly staff. Only word of warning "Ride don't walk." Tried to walk the course and was rushed on every shot, felt hurried. Enjoyed the course will be back with a cart next time.

the course is kind of confusing and fiarways are not well defind and the traps are hard

Course was in pretty good shape considering all the current rain. Tee boxes were great, flat and lots of grass, most greens were pretty good, not all the hybrid bermuda had come in and the fairways were dormant.Greens putted true and were fast for Bermuda. Nice layout and a very good value. A cpl of things I noticed as a first time player was lack of markings for hole locations. Hole are not back to back and a cpl of time we had no idea which way to go. Fairway distant markers were lacking and the ball washers were low on water and dirty, restaraunt is good but service is a tad slow. I am looking forward to playing again when all the grass comes in.Very good value and nice course for a daily fee..
