Let me start off by saying this is not a bad course to play. The greens are normally in great shape and putt very well. The fairways are not bad, but if you miss the fairway, you take a great chance on damaging a club due to all the rocks.

Now to the bad, this course is way overpriced. I went to Cedar Crest the other day to walk 9 holes during the week. I was told, "$15, Oh by the way we just aerated our greens". I just turned and walked out and headed to Smyrna Munuciple and walked 9 for $12. First how are you going to charge me $15, then on top of that charge me full price to play on aerated greens? Give me a break! I can go walk 18 holes during the week at Old Fort for $22 or Pine Creek for $25. No wonder this course struggles to survive.

The prior reviews leave me somewhat perplexed. While the staff is good to work with, the course leaves something to be desired. First, there really is no practice area. And even though this course has been around for a few years now, there continues to be bare spots throughout the course, on and around the fairways. There is some potential here. Someone just needs to put some capital into upgrading the condition of the course and then maintaining it.

Great little course. It is currently under reconstruction in some portions, but I love it none the less. Wide, open fairways on the front, and narrower, tree-lined fairways on the back. Could be cheaper, but they are making improvements to the course. The staff is great as well.

Good Course

This is a good but not great course. If you stay on the fairway, it is well maintained. However, the areas off of the fairway can be patchy and bare. The green fees have gone, up and are on the high end of fair. Overall, I will play this course again.

Nice little course.

This course kind of has a "hillbilly" golf feel to it, but that's not meant to be a criticism. Very relaxing, fun place to play. Although it's rough around the edges, the fairways were very quick. Not many sandtraps to play around with, but if you get off the beaten path you will lose a couple of balls. Twilight golf started at 3:00 pm, which means you could get a couple of rounds in for a little over $20 in the summer time. Even at $22 per 18 holes it's a heluva deal! The staff was very friendly and I really enjoyed playing here, as it's one of the unique courses in the area.

Great New Find!

Had a wonderful twilight round after discovering this place. Be sure to get a burger at the grill inside! The fairways are fairly tight but there are not many hazards. Also, the green's are slick as Augusta and in tip top shape...not too many people seem to be crowding it, making for a relaxed round with no waiting...highly recommended
