If the greens were in better shape, the course would be worth the drive every weekend. The fairways are in excellent condition, like hitting off carpet. The drive isn't that bad, wish the course was closer to me.

I've played a lot of courses in South Carolina and this one is my favorite. Great fairways, fast greens with plenty of undulation, and a challenging layout with no houses make this course a must play. The staff is very friendly and the green fees are a great bargain.

Because I work all around the southeast, I have played at a lot of different courses and I will say that this course is at the top of my list. It is in a remote area which,to me, makes it that much better (fewer golfers). The price for the quality is outstanding. The fairways and greens are in immaculate shape. I was pleasently surprised by my experience.

I played this with my two sons and enjoyed every minute of it. Great course, fast greens, plush fairways. I liked it so much I came back the next day and played again.

I have played golf all over the world. Penny Branch ranks among the best courses that I have played. It's off the beaten path, but it's definitely worth going out of your way to play. The owners are on site most of the time and go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

I loved playing this course. f-ways & greens are excellent. Well worth the short ride to find it! I just wish they had a more formal Pro Shop / Snack Bar, but their pavillion is a great touch.

Amazing course out in the middle of nowhere. Hidden gem. Once you find the golf course and play it, you want to go back. Penny Branch has the best greens I've played in a long, long time. If this course were on Hilton Head, they could charge $100+ per round easily.

We played a SCGA tournament here a few months back. The club house folks are RUDE, and the ownership tries to purge every dollar out of the visiting golfer that they can. Some Examples... The charged us a $28 CART FEE, if you want to buy a $4 Beer, you have to first buy a $5 temp membership. They have timers on the carts thae will shut off the cart if you take longer than they feel it should take. They have signage all around the mobile home club house stating comments like... NO COOLERS ALLOWED, DON'T MAKE US EMBARRESS YOU, BECASUE WE WILL!... Overall I will not be returning to these VULCHERS!
