This course was without a doubt, the worst course I have ever played at in my life. Plan on taking a couple dozen balls, if you hit anywhere other than the fairway, your ball is lost. The grass off of the fairway hasn't been cut in weeks, mix in the millions of dandelions, and it's all but impossible to find your ball. Compare this course to Oakbrook, where the fees are the same, and you will never play this course again. Groundskeepers have no idea about course management. I called prior to playing and asked the owner what condition the course was in. His reply 'immaculate'. Unfortunately for me, I'm almost certain that he does not know the meaning of that word. He said that they put $1,000,000 + dollars into the course. That is a complete joke. They put 0 dollars into the course. The only place they spent any money was on the club house, which is far from complete, and the bar, which isn't anything to brag about. This could be a beautiful course if proper management was in place. Unfortunately, I don't see this place being open much longer. Don't waste your time or money at Pleasant Valley Golf Course. You will leave completely frustrated and wish you would have spent your money playing putt-putt.

Course was not in good condition. Will not go back.

zmc15961 must either own this place or not know a thing about golf. This course was in awful condition; the greens were shaggy and bumpy, the fairways full of dandelions and bunkers not kept well at all. Groundskeeper continued to mow fairway while we hit down! Unfriendly owner; when my partner voiced his complaint that the course was in bad shape and definately did not warrant a $30 charge, he was rude and hostile. I would not go back if they paid ME $30.

Wow!!! The changes that have been made at Pleasant Valley are incredible. The pro-shop has been completely renovated. The 19th Hole sports bar is very unique and very accomodating. Great value for money on all food and beverages. The irrigation system has been recently renovated. The course has been lengthened to almost 6700 yards from the blue tees. It is very challenging course with beautiful scenery. Weekly rates are $30 with cart. Weekend rates are $32 with cart. Banquet facilities are available with seating up to 250 people. The new owners are definitely giving the members a course they can be proud of. Best of all what about that buy 1 get 1 free on 2008 membership! INCREDIBLE!

terrible management, desperately in need of professional greenskeepers and knowledgeable maintenance personnel, club house is a joke, staff unfriendly

the scenery is beautiful but... we spent a good deal of our time looking for our balls ON the fairways. In portions it almost rates average for course condition but the majority of the course had me shaking my head in disbelief that a golf course could actually be this bad. The fairway grass was overgrown, the greens looked chopped up and you couldn't put without getting bumped off course by dry clumps of grass and divots. Price after 4 is 20 bucks all the golf you can do with a cart, but I'm not going back until there is significant improvement. Even as an amateur I rate it very poorly.
