I played this Seven Springs on 4/30/10 with 3 friends on our way out to Louisville. We were able to get the $32 spring rate which was a steal. The only thing we did not consider was given the altitude of Seven Springs the course was about 2 weeks behind most others in PA, even those in NEPA. Because of that the greens were still a little shaggy and bumpy. The fairways, tee boxes and bunkers were all in great shape. The layout was good with a nice variety of holes offering some awesome views of the surrounding Laurel Highlands. The most difficult thing about the course were the elevated greens imo. Most of them have fall offs on at least 2 sides so short siding yourself can lead to some major headaches. There's also a few blind tee shots that can course problems if you don't scout out the hole first. For some reason there's no course map on the scorecard. I feel this is a course that would be easier to play the second time around. The clubhouse and pro shop are really nice and the staff was polite.

Great for the golfer of most skill levels. Not to difficult for the beginner, And still enough of a challenge for the 10 handicapper to enjoy himself. The course is usually well maintained. Not much to the club house But who cares your there to golf right? Nice course for the price. I would recommend this course to anyone.

Charm for the low handicapper? I think not.

Great greens for the price. Friendly staff, and a little driving range on site.

I have played here a lot over the years and find this place somewhat charming although it's definitely not one of the upper echelon courses. It has a wide variety of hole types which provide for some varied shot making and it does offer many options on some of the shorter holes, especially the short #10 which begs you to go for the green off the tee but punishes you to no end if you drive through and over it. I find the back nine to be more scenic and overall the place is generally in good condition although there are times the tee boxes have been ragged. What I really like about this place is I think it has universal appeal to both low and high handicappers and its generally in good enough maintained condition to appeal to all.
