I've played three Sundays this year and each time it was a 5 hour round. When their "Mens Association" plays the rangers/marshalls simply allow them to play slow. An average course in average at best conditions and a 5 hour round will never see me there again!

Played first tee time of the day on 7/15/09. After two weeks on very dry conditions, course was still green. Practice area very nice, pro shop was very nice as well. Tee boxes very well maintained. Overall, it is easy to see why this place use to be private.

Several challenging par 3s. Water can come into play, a few holes you have to club down to make sure you don't roll into the streams, made for an interesting challenge. Greens were excellent.

Favorite hole without a doubt is on the hole that offers an island fairway, very unique. Price was $22 for the early rate. For the money and the quality of the course, this is tough to beat. Definitely worth a play and only a mile or so off of Route 15. Driving range is okay, good enough to get loose on before a round.

Range End has fairly open but well conditioned fairways. The tee boxes are nicely decorated with various flowers. I found nothing overly challenging about this course. Greens were modestly slow, bunkers well manicured. Nice holes include the picturesque Par 3 tenth with water in front of the left side of the green, Par 5 11th with a spectacular garden display on the hill behind the green, and the Par 4 18th with a long culvert all around the fairway. Other holes were pretty much straight away and less memorable. Tee time pass was for $15, so a good value but not spectacular golf...just a good ordinary round.

Played here on Veterans Day, driving out from Center City Philly in about 2 hours. The course was wet which made it play longer than the 6200 from the blue tees. There are several really nice holes including 4 with all the water, and the scenic and challenging stretch from 8 through 12. The design dates from the mid-1950s and I had the pleasure of playing with a member who, at 95, still plays nine holes twice a week. He gave me most of the low down. The pro was very cordial. The superintendent is doing a heck of a good job. The greens putted very true and very quick for this time of the year. Word was that the place had been a private club that has opened up for outside play. Dillsburg is a genuinely pretty part of the state!
