The 18-hole "Desert Pines" course at the Desert Pines Golf Club facility in Las Vegas, Nevada features 6,810 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 70.4 and it has a slope rating of 122 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Perry Dye, ASGCA, the Desert Pines golf course opened in 1996. Arcis Golf manages this facility, with Bill Wickboldt as the General Manager.

DP tries to squeeze a whole lot of golf into a small area. Course isn't long but is VERY tight with lots of obstacles everywhere. Course was in good shape but the greens had just been punched and were sandy messes. Amenities were ok but the driving range really needs a makeover. Definitely paid a premium for a sub-par course.

This course pulls a scam that alot of golfers are aware of so this is a warning to vistors who want to play the course. If you schedule a tee time for X number of players you will be charged for X number if someone decides not to show up. Funny thing is when you check in they will say 'Ah dont worry about being short players we wont charge you', then they do the next day. They know out of towners wont be there to fight it and when you call to challenge it they give a song and dance. DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE.
