Played this course today and found it in average condition. Some of the tee boxes needed some TLC. A few of the greens were still pocked marked from last year and have not recovered yet. The staff was very friendly

I played here a few days ago, and I was very impressed.

It is a wide open, links style course -- although there are a handful of holes where trees come into play. The drive between holes was pretty far on about 8 of the holes, and you sort of cut your cart across spots where you could get hit with a ball.

Having said that, the maintenance on this course is about as good as I've seen on a mid-level public course. The teeboxes, fairways and rough were all well manicured, and there is fescue in some places which will eat up your balls with errant shots. Not to mention water comes into play on a lot of the holes. The only complaint I have was that I saw a lot of large stones in most of the bunkers.

The greens were phenomenal, as well. Putts rolled extremely quick, but if you could get the speed down you can hit some long ones. I played at Centerton the day before with soft, water-logged greens -- and putting there was akin to the fringe of Town & Country.

Maybe it's a little pricier than average courses, but in my opinion it's worth it considering how much they care about keeping the course in top notch conditions year round.

This is a nice course, mostly flat however, with a few holes where water comes into play. The 14rh by far is there signature hole, a par 3 island green. It's not really a tough course and the holes aren't really unique, but the maintanence is great and the greens are extremely good, even in January. The price, as usual for many Southern Jersey courses is too high, but they do have logo balls. So I'd recommend playing at least once, scoring a logo ball for you logo ball lovers, and moving on. Overall rating--C+

I love this course. One of my favorite. It is a links style with a lot of fescue , rough, traps and several holes with water hazzards. They keep it in good condition. Fun to play. A little pricy for $50 weekdays. They do run specials that are a good value. Membership prices are cheap as well.

We always have a great time at this course! Even after drenching rain, we had good playable conditions. The staff is extremely helpful and food in the clubhouse is the best I've had at any golf course - especially the crabcakes! One of South Jersey's best kept secrets.

Just played yesterday and I was thouroughly disappointed with the upkeep. The fairways were shaggy and the greens bumpy and inconsistent. A course that charges $50 for a weekday should be more on top of their groundskeeping. Some of the greens were slow, some fast, none consistent. When your ball is "sitting down" in the fairway you know they aren't doing their job with mowing. Don't know if I would go back.

Links style course, pretty open with a lot of fescue. The greens are in good condition. They didn't seem to be too fast or have too much break but I played there when it was pretty wet out so that could have slowed them down and taken the break out. The course was in pretty good shape except a few tee boxes. It's a little short from the white tees. This isn't a very difficult course unless you end up in the fescue. They have a nice practice facility, range, practice bunker, etc.
The price was reasonable too.

The greens and fairway are in good condition. The tee boxes on 15,16,17 could use some work, all the were o.k. I will be back to play this one....

This was one of the worst courses I have every played. Why put an 18 hole course in the space that would be good for 9 holes. I don't think it is enjoyable to be in the line of fire when waiting to tee off on a hole. When you place an out of bounds within a golf course you know you have a problem. Out of bounds are reserved for the course boundaries. I would never recommend this course to a friend or even an enemy and I will never play this course again.

This was a very well kept course. I am going back there as son as possible. Open links for most of the course and the few holes: 15--17 that are wooded are fun to work around. Wind can be a factor because there is nothing to stop the breezes from blowing your shots all over the place.

Over-all Course Condition

The condition of the fairways and greens are great. Driving on the fairways and staying off of the ruff keeps the grass in ruff very playable and fair. Green have a true roll and pin positions are placed in good spots. Yardage is marked well.
