I am not from here but have been here about 7 months. My friends and I are always looking for some fun things to do. We are not avid golfers and as a matter of fact one of my friends was his first time golfing. Sadly to say was horrible. We were also harrased by the grumpy man driving around bird dogging us. We as well confronted him and the owner due to there absolute failure of customer service. We were also told, that the customer isn't always right, hmm. We will never go there, recommend them, and strongly detour anyone from going there. I have never been treated so poorly in my life, I hope there business fails. P.S, the grass is greener on the other side.

I would NEVER play this course again. I am from ND, now living in MInneapolis. We had come back to visit family and friends and I thought that it would be nice to play 18 with my 2 brothers and a friend in Minot. We are not scratch players but know how to play. My friend from Minot is a total non-golfer and we knew that we would bend the rules for him to keep the game moving. I was hoping for an enjoyable morning with some relaxing golf and that is NOT what we got.
We had a 7AM tee time so we could try to get our game completed early and not play during the busier time of the day. After completing the first hole the course ranger followed us from hole 2 thru hole 6 because they wanted to make sure we were not going to slow people down. I know because I confronted the ranger and directly asked why he was following us. It was completely distracting and all 4 members of our group commented at different times that they felt we were being followed. We did not notice the ranger following any other groups. Also after completing the front nine we stop at the clubhouse for refreshments and restroom breaks and before we even entered the building we were told that we were playing too slow (2hr 15min front nine) and that we needed to keep going so that we would not slow the groups behind us. The entire 18 hole we did not see any groups that were waiting behind us and no one asked if they could play thru. I am returning to golf after many years off but I did not know and could not find anywhere what the time limit of 9 holes of golf is?
My whole group was VERY upset with the blatant harassment during our front 9 and it made the back nine more of a chore then a game. I was glad to play 18 with my family and friend but if I had known then what I know now, I would have choice ANY other golf course in Minot. The management made us feel more like an assembly line then a golf game. GOLFERS BEWARE!

One of the finest courses in the state of North Dakota. I am from Fargo, and Edgewood can't hold a candle to the challenge and play of Souris Valley!
