Our 8 man group was very impressed. The course was perfect, the staff went out of their way to accomodate us, and the food in the clubhouse was top notch. We played six days straight and we wouldn't eevn consider changing to a different course.

We played here during the week of July 4th on the recommendation of a friend who played here last year. The course was in great shape and the new club house is beautiful. I was really impressed with the place and would certainly recommend it to others; in fact, we came back for a second day rather than sampling another area course. The course is not the longest one around but it is well protected without feeling like you have to play target golf (and it's a par 72, not 73 as this site indicates). The practice facility is also extensive and they provide free range balls, which is a nice touch when you're spending $100+. My favorite part, though, was that they didn't let the course get too crowded so you didn't feel like you had someone breathing down your neck all day long.

we have a group that comes down every November for a 4 day golf weekend - played Kilmarlic this time with the group and was very impressed with the course. Course was in excellent shape and proved to be a good strong challenge even for our 2 handicap golfer that came down this time (we are all 15+ handicappers). Can't wait to see the new clubhouse (was about 80% completed this past weekend) - staff was friendly and knowledgeable, carts were in excellent condition. This course will definitely be on our itinerary again next year!

Very nice course! I just wish the club house was done I would've given the Amenities a higher rating!

Great Place!

We just came back from a trip to the Outer Banks, and can say with all honesty that Kilmarlic was by far our favorite course. Played 3 other courses while we were there, and none of them could compete. Condition was well above par - for a relatively new course, it is in excellent shape. Staff was friendly and well-informed. Can't wait to see the clubhouse - from what we were told they will be starting construction soon. Will definately play Kilmarlic on our trip next year. Don't miss it while visiting the OBX

Lovely course. Excellent service.

Wow. What a beautiful course and well maintained! Upon arriving, my husband and I were welcomed by the club staff who were very helpful and answered all of our questions. While playing, we enjoyed the beautiful landscaping. We were fortunate to not have to wait, and we loved the design and challenge of the course. We had a wonderful time, and we definitely will be back! This is by far one of the best courses we have ever played! Lorelei Toussaint, Chesapeake, VA.

AVOID this place like the plague!

Do NOT waste your time playing here. The course is over-priced and poorly maintained. We had to walk through puddles on the course, and the sprinklers were on while we were playing. The pro shop staff is flat-out rude. There is no grill, so food is limited to a few cold sanwiches and chips (but they don't bother to tell you this). You'll be lucky to spot the beer girl, and if you do, good luck getting her to stop. If you are visiting the area, The Carolina Club is by far the best course and value. Whatever you do, do NOT play Kilmarlic (or Seascape).
