Mallard Head Golf Course


The 18-hole "Mallard Head" course at the Mallard Head Country Club facility in Mooresville, North Carolina features 6,904 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 72.8 and it has a slope rating of 121 on Bermuda grass. Designed by George W. Cobb, ASGCA, the Mallard Head golf course opened in 1979. Eddie Campbell manages the course as the General Manager.

This course offers good value. It meanders through houses but they are set back nicely. Greens are good and fairways are decent. The holes are interesting and it was designed by a top architect, George Cobb. There are plenty of bunkers and a little water. I recommend the course.

Mallard Head is a cow pasture. Hit balls in your backyard,it's probably in better shape.
