Fun golf course. Great layout with a few holes that could be on the cover of Golf Digest. I thought the greens were a little weedy for the price I paid.

Played the course in late June 2010. I really enjoyed the experience very much. Course was well maintained (was explained that in the recent past there was some issues). Fun to play, interesting holes and layout. I would love to go back again when I am in the area.

I enjoy The Ridges, it is difficult but manageable. The layout is good and they maintain this course very well. The ammenities are above average, they have a range, putting green, and chipping area. They also have a lodge and restaurant. The course is always in good shape and worth the money.

The Ridges!

I played 36 here yesterday and it was a great challange. From the Gold tees it was not too long, but the greens by far make this track very tough. Great views through the entire round!

Average, nothing spectacular about this one

I'm native resident of Western NC. The Ridges (formerly known as Mountain Harbor) is a very average, unspectacular course when compared to other mountain courses. The course is usually in good condition and the layout is adequate, but there are no breathtaking or memorable holes. The mountain views are nice, especially in the fall, but they don't compare to the scenary at other WNC courses. Those of you traveling from FL and GA who are looking for a high end resort course will be disapointed. The new restaurant is good, but extreemly overpriced for this area. The best golf courses in WNC are in Highlands and Cashiers, NC. If you are going to be staying in the Hayesville, Murphy or Hiawassee area for other reasons then I recommend The Ridges, but don't travel here just to play this course; it's not worth it.

This is one of my favorites. Along with the wonderful staff, the scenery is spectacular. a challenge to all golfers and one play here and you will be hooked. Challenging fairways and tight receptive greens. A jewel of a course.

The Ridges Rock!

I live in Florida and come up to play this course every year in October and have been for the past tens years. The mountain scenery is spectacular, especially with the fall foliage in turn. The course is fun yet challenging and boasts a new club house of stone and timber construction that is a work of art. The staff is first rate and exceedingly friendly.
