Ruth Park Golf Course, Saint Louis, MO

This was the worst golf experience I have ever had. We came with the intention of playing 18 holes and Dale (The Worker) was on the same page with us so we were under the assumption we would pay for the second 9 without the cart since we already had a cart. Dale decided that's not what he wanted to do even after telling us that is what he would do. We ended up getting double charged and Dale went back on his word that he understood we were there to play 18. Horrible customer service I would NOT recommend this course. They put words into your mouth and "forget" what they say.

This is a fun course, and they have done a great job of taking care of it with the new driving range, completed cart paths,etc. The only gripe I have is that sometimes pace is maddeningly slow. Some people don't know how to play, and there aren't marshals to push them along. Lots of experienced regulars play there, but lots of beginners, too. I have met all nice people when I played there. They allow groups of five, so that slows things down.

I was actually very surprised when I played this course. In a summer where the temp has frequently hit 100 degrees the course was in really nice shape. This was a fun course to play, but I wouldn't recommend walking it in really high temps, I found that out the hard way. Overall I would recommend this course to just about anyone other then a real low handicap player.
