The good: very, very scenic. exciting to play. great mix of holes. #5 is a 5-star par-5. #3 is a stunning hole as well.

The bad: #8 is a bad hole. a long par-4 with a forced lay-up tee shot. but thats the only negative of the entire 9 holes.

Overall: If you play Osage National, which you should, MAKE SURE you play the MOUNTAIN nine.

Excellent layout, need to hit it straight, greens smooth as silk

Picture Postcard Golf

Given great terrain and ample land with which to work, Arnold Palmer put together one of his best designs at Osage National. Spectacular scenery; large, flowing greens, and mature trees make this nine the best of the three 9-hole courses at the complex. Every blade of grass is manicured, personnel are friendly and helpful, and the clubhouse is fantastic. Over time, this complex may offer the best course over the entire Lake of the Ozarks area.
