The 18-hole "Refuge" course at the The Refuge Golf Club facility in Oak Grove, Minnesota features 6,534 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 71.9 and it has a slope rating of 139 on Blue grass. Designed by Don Herfort, ASGCA/Kevin Norby, the Refuge golf course opened in 2001. Josh Fisher manages the course as the Director of Golf.

Beautiful course and amenities but very slow play the day we went. There was a tournament that morning and for some reason they have three par 3s on the front nine. Also, they don't keep their bar/grill open if there is an event/wedding going on. Real nice course and amenities but the slow day killed it. We had been playing for 3 hours when we teed off on the 10th. A Groupon is the reason I went so far north in the first place.
