Course is ho hum AT BEST, not really a challenging course.. Don't eat the food there, have heard stories of their cooks picking food up off the floor and serving it to people. You'd be better off finding something at a supermarket. Have personally gotten sick after eating there.

I play Valleywood often during the summer. For the price it is a good value. You can use all of your clubs on this course, with trees everywhere, water and sand traps too. Dog legs, and hills. The equipment is in good shape and the staff is friendly. Enjoy.....

This course is really terrible. Really would make a better parking lot or dog park. The only reason its interesting is allegedly the old pro used to steal, scheme and commit adultery behind the facade of a born again Christian... plus you can hit high drivers over trees on almost every hole. Pay your $50 and wear a helmet.

It is one of the best values in Minnesota. The fairways are often narrow, demanding you some precise shorts to have a good round. You should play from Gold, as you will appreciate the course fully with all risk taking decisions. For some, this may not be fun, but for many others, this is definitely a great practice course. The greens are a bit boring, as they are basically flat.

Great course, great staff. Some consider valleywood the birthplace of golf. This House of Doglegs serves up large meaty portions of lush fairways and well manicured greens. Valleywood's amen corner, #3, #4, #5 leave many breathless. Bring your camera, many a photo opp, but be careful, you may bust your budget at your local framing shop - you'll want all these gems on your walls. After the round do not hesitate to enjoy a highball and one of the varied offerings from the kitchen menu. Enjoy your fare while sitting in the majestic sunroom overlooking the 18th green with a panoramic view of the 10th and 11th also to occupy your time. Eat fast though, because you'll want to get back onto the 1st tee for another round or spend some time on one of the best practice facilities in the South Metro. You never know who you will see working on their game, it could be a future tour player, collegiate star, or influential political or business leader. Networking opportunities at Valleywood are fruitful. Valleywood has a long tradition of developing golfers and community leaders, and I see nothing that will keep this young course from becoming one of the best in the nation in time!

Bravo city of AV, Bravo!!!!

excellent course that plays pretty tough to the average golfer. It has tight fairways, and a lot of woods. Any errant shot will probably be lost. The course is usually in great condition and the greens are in excellent shape.
