One-half hour north of Grand Rapids and it is well worth the drive. Beautiful scenery and course maintenance is top-notch. Surprising elevation changes and some wide fairway landing areas add to your visual and golfing pleasure. But, this is not an easy course. Greens are fast, undulating and well protected. Do not pass up playing this course if you are in the area.

All things considered, this is the finest golf course in Michigan. It has all the scenery of a Northern Michigan course, excellent practice facilities, immaculate fairway, greens and traps, the staff treats every guest like they are long-time members. I have played on many major public courses in the United States - this course is a top contender in my book!

Took a chance on playing a new course, were told the golf course was in beautiful shape, not the case. They top dressed the greens, 15 out of 18 holes had sand all over them and leaves. I was not impressed at all the course just seemed filthy, as we got to the 14th hole the grounds crew were just starting to clean up around the greens at 2pm. Thanks for the being honest before we drove an hour to play on your lousy greens.

Just returned from our annual golf trip and we played Pilgrims Run for the final round in the rain last Saturday. Even on a miserable day this course was holding up in excellent condition. A beautiful layout with lots of nature. One of our groups actually had a fox sit and watch them tee off on one hole and then follow them until the green, saw deer and wild turkeys also. No houses in site. Managed to shoot the low round of my life 75 with 4 straight birdies on the back. Only negative was they are a bit weird with the no alcohol and way they run the course like a church school. Overall I would recommend this course to anyone in the area as a must play, especially for the very reasonable prices.

I've played the best in the world. This is one of my favorites. I play from the whites and it is tough. I can't imagine the challenge it presents to the brave "way-backers". I am used to paying hundreds of dollars to play at courses of less quality. It's a work of art and the most bang for your buck in Michigan, period. Tullymore, is as nice. But, it's not better and it costs much more. I love this course. It's always in perfect shape. It can be crowded though. I hate to wait, but there is always something to look at here. It's a gem.

Beautiful course in the north woods of Michigan. I grew up right across from this course. You see deer and turkeys every time you play. After you finish your round their is always someone to wipe your clubs down for you. Good Times.
