I like the course. Challenging enough for me without being a chore to get a decent score. Greens are very nice. Staff was outstanding from the person in the pro shop to the maintenance crew. One of the mowing guys helped me understand the layout of a fairway. Bring your bug spray if you are playing early.

Seems the reviews of Nonesuch are a little harsh. This is a great little course at a reasonable rate for it's quality. I'd call it upscale without the added expense of a must play course. Getting on can be a chore as they regularly fill the tee slots. It's a very walkable course with excellent greens and good upkeep. As far as amenities go, they have everything I need but they could use a better pub menu. Having a beer on the deck overlooking the 9th and 18th holes makes for a great end of a round. If you're in southern Maine and want a good round without feeling you've paid for show, this is the one.

Decent course, was well maintained when I playedit. Not overly long.

An interesting layout, a nice mix of holes, and a $25 twilight rate make this a great course for afternoon play and a very good course at other times. Local knowledge is critical, though, as several holes have unexpected twists or hidden hazards and distance markers are sparse (only the 150 yard poles are easily visible). There are a few very long walks between greens and tees, so consider renting a push cart. (On both of the days I played, gas carts were restricted to paths, which is annoying and slows down play.) In my opinion, the course plays a lot harder than its rating and slope indicate, but you should be able to score well if you can hit the ball straight.

Generally well maintained fairways and greens. The front 9 seems to be in better condition than the back, but in comparison to other courses in the area - this course is a wonderfully pleasant play.

Overall, course in better condition than prior years. That said, the concerns: Range facilities are average (at best) -- Mats need to be replaced; price/bucket is no bargain. Compared to other nearby courses --
Facilities/food are average; price/value ratio is more in line (it was over-priced before); however, may suffer from over-play due to lower pricing & number of league players. It's a 'good track' for developing high & mid-high handicappers.

Nice Course, cut right through the woods. Beautiful grass driving range. Twilight Rates are a steal.
