Musket Ridge has a beautiful layout and stunning views. Joe Lee really made a great golf course! Maintenance is spectacular and the staff is extremely friendly! The Blue-Gray club is a fantastic value and I plan to join again next year. Pace of play is great unlike past years. I played in June 2011 and will be back next summer certainly.

This was a well designed golf course with many different types of holes, very senic, and in excellent shape. I really enjoyed playing this golf course although it is on the pricey side.

I really like this course. The layout is scenic, fun, challenging but fair. The staff is always very nice and I appreciate the free range balls before the round (amazing that all courses don't provide this). What I'm getting tired of is the ridiculous pace of play! Yesterday, it took 2 hrs, 45 mins to play the front 9 and then we quit. The group in front of us quit also. This isn't the first time. I can accept 5 hours on a weekend but 5 1/2 hrs is beyond my tolerance. To the course management...please pay attention to this problem!

Great course - implacable conditions from tee to green. Yes the fescue is high and you wont get your ball out but the course is fair and fairly open without a lot of trees. Green side bunkers are deeper than avg. so avoiding them is a plus. Practice area is nice but a bit small for the type of venue. While not a bargain, I think the price is fair for the quality of the course. Played on a weekday not a lot of traffic on the course. Staff was great (although didn't see a cart girl the entire time, which I though was weird given it was summer!!)

The most beautiful course in the area. Wonderful contours, really feels like a Scottish course with the waist hi rough on the edge of every hole. This course is a ball gobbler if you are not in the fairway, so come prepared. Can be a very challenging course, but a lot of the fairways are shaped to keep balls in the short grass if you are close. Look around for coupons/deals, then just look around as you play...

Great golf course. Fun to play. But i tell you do not hit it into that second cut of rough, you might as well just go ahead and drop a ball because you will not find it. Oh and another thing, do not hit the greenside bunker to the left on hole #5, let's just say i had quite the time getting out of the 7ft wall of sand in front me! The price is a little high but you will have a great time on this course.

What would hold me back from returning is the price...which really isn't any different than the other courses in this area. The tall fescue grass was a monster but other than a few wayward shots, the course played very fair. I am not a long ball striker, so many of the strategically placed traps did not come into play for me. Course is very similar to Maryland National...more scenic with hills, less dramatic holes. I really enjoyed holes 15-17...anything right on the Par 4 15th is a double bogey or worse...anything right on the Par 4 16th is also a double bogey or worse...anything short is a bogey or worse on the long Par 3 17th. Though the signature hole is the Par 3 2nd hole, it's the only hole that water comes into play. There are other comparible courses for much less $$$ but Musket Ridge was an enjoyable place.

Very dissapointed even though I scored hole-in-one on #2. No recognition by club at all. Played on Fri 9/21/07 and called one day prior and asked about areation. Told it was done one month prior. When we arrived at course some holes were being areated as we played. Paid prem price for premium golf course, but not given given truthful info about condition of course. NOT EVEN A CERTIFICATE FOR HOLE IN ONE...Paid $100 to play on a nice course when not being worked on

Wow, what a course!

Yes, it's pricey but you gotta' try it once just for the scenery! Mountainous hills all around! Even the driving range is idicative to the course with plateaus at different distances that hold their very on flags! The bar reminds you of a lodge at a resort. Gorgeous course, check it out!

Great track!

Played on a cold January day and had the whole place to myself. The conditions were perfect for me - no one else on the course! The course itself provides plenty of challenge, scenery and interest for just about any level of game. You need to hit it straight here or make sure you've packed a couple of dozen balls. If you stray into the fescue just hold up your hand and wave bye bye to your ball. I'd play this track every day if I had the chance. Definite must play.
