The greens are terrible!! We played the course over this weekend and while the staff was nice, there is no way the conditions of the course warranted $90 greens fees. The local muni courses that only charge $45 have better greens then this place.

Played this course this week and except for some major ball marks on the greens, I thought the course was in good shape.
The staff is helpful and courteous, my only detractor was the lack of the staff being happy. The first impression was at bag drop when a smile could have put me at ease, instead it all seemed very stiff and matter-of-fact; park there, go in there, range there...
The inside guys were pleasant and very accommodating.
The food: it was EXCELLENT!
the atmosphere was very country club-esque, which I enjoyed after my round.
ALERT...ALERT...ALERT
the staff has a Thursday night drop-in league with dinner included for only $25 - the food alone is a reason to come, but the organized staff setting up the night's game is a bonus!

This golf course is an embarrassment to Anne Arundel County. The customer service is horrible and negligent of it's customers. I would not recommend investing your money and time in this company.

The course was well maintained and a delight to play all the famous holes I've seen on TV. The price was reduced with an on line coupon, but still above my norm. Worth it though!

Lots of Fun.

I have to say that this was a real treat to play. The course condition was great for the most part. After watching the Player's at Sawgrass last week it was neat playing 3 of the holes I has watching on TV. Staff was top notch as well. Will play again.

The course is great fun to play and the pros and staff are delightful and professional! It is a bit pricey for regular play, but a great treat!

Unacceptable

I paid full price yesterday to play a course that should have been entirely roped off as "ground under repair." The first two holes had temporary greens and after that just about every green had an inch of sand on it. While the layout resembles the championship holes, there is zero scenery to really make you feel like you are there. So-called "Amen Corner" had no trees, the hole sign on Augusta's No. 13 was knocked down and in the brush, and Rae's Creek was as dry as the Arizona desert. The British Open replicas were the best of the bunch. In addion, the course was flooded with maintenance workers, who showed little respect and etiquette for the paying customers. On one tee box, two workers were off to the side, talking in the middle of my back swing. I have never seen a golf course conduct so much extensive maintenance in the middle of the day. I will never play here again. It was totally unacceptable to charge full. No where on the course's Web site, or in the pro shop, was it mentioned that the greens were aerated and sandy. Instead of "Renditions," it should be called ""Renovations."

Unique idea

I only played here once, and I guess it's a curiosity thing that gets you here at least once. Just wanting to play the Augusta National Amen Corner holes is enough for most people, and I guess the island green at Sawgrass makes it that much more interesting, but it's somewhat dissapointing when you get to the Augusta holes and the greens are no where near what you'd get at Augusta. So much for a "Rendition". This is a very challenging course though, as most of these holes are replicas of some of the more challenging holes from championship venues. And it is kind of neat to get to play several holes from Scotland, et al. It's definitely something everyone should try once, but I don't know if it would be a place to play all the time, especially for the price they charge.
