The 18-hole "Crofton" course at the Crofton Country Club facility in Crofton, Maryland features 7,211 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 74.0 and it has a slope rating of 136. Designed by Edmund B. Ault, ASGCA, the Crofton golf course opened in 1964. CBIGG Management LLC manages this facility, with Ray Sauser, PGA as the General Manager.

A nice fair friendly private course.

Crofton has a layout that is fair and not too punishing with excellent options for low and high handicap golfers alike. There are five sets of tees - the whites which I played being the fourth longest set - so if you are a skilled golfer, you can hit from the blacks and play a 7,100 yard course. The white tees measure about 6,000 yards. For ladies, there are gold tees that measure out at about 5,300 yards, but it looks like on some holes, they added red tees that cut off some distance. All in all, a very nice pleasurable round and a reasonable layout.
