This course is okay. Not great, not terrible.

Played Bay Hills on a hot Monday afternoon. The course has water in play, a bunch of doglegs, quite a few bunkers, some hills. The greens and fairways were in good shape. The bunkers were not. Mostly dirt or dusty sand. Makes it tough to get out of one of those dirt suckers if you hit into one.

The sandwich and hot dog in the clubhouse building was good. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

If you can get a deal, play it. The going rate appears to be $45 weekday and $60 weekend with cart. I would say that is a bit on the high side.

One of the best courses in Maryland. The best staff, the best food and a great course. Simply a real pleasure to play here.

I have never seen so many bees in my life! They were nesting in all of the bunkers! The grass was poorly maintained, especially in the tee boxes and the rough. Greens were pretty good, though. This course has the potential to be very nice.

Played this course last fall and when I played this course last weekend I was disappointed. The maintenance has gone down hill. The greens and tee boxes needed to be cut. the fairways were in good condidtion. Staff is friendly. The only downside to the course is the maintenance.

Overall, I think Bay Hills was a good value. However, the maintenance was sorely lacking. Most greens were in pretty good shape but others had large brown spots and were very soft in spots. Fairways, rough and tee boxes were in terrible shape.

I actually really liked the design of the course. 18 is a great finishing hole. In better condition, Bay Hills could be a very nice golf course. I was a bit disappointed.

A decent amount of the par 4s play close to or over 400 yards from the blue tees and can be quite the challenge. Despite my low rating and the poor condition of the course, I will likely be back as I did enjoy my round quite a bit.

If you like lots of par 4s at a decent price this is for you. The only par 5 is the 10th hole and I think it's the 2nd toughest hole on the course to grab a par. #11 is the tough par 4 -- driving into a ravine near water and then approaching to an elevated green maybe with a downhill lie. Most par 4s are short varieties but they can be tight off the tee. I think #3, 14 (par 3), and 15 are the best holes; worst holes include #10, and 1. The course ends with a beautiful par 3 hard to the water that I've been able to play well over the years. The course is hilly and woody, and fairly scenic for being surrounded by an older, mixed-use residential area. Play at bargain rates and you'll be glad, especially if they also throw in the buffet special.

This is a "community course" that winds its way through the neighborhood. Course is "relatively" well maintained and water comes into play on numerous holes. Hookers and slicers (not faders and drawers) can get into a lot of trouble on some holes so either bring extra balls with you or get ready to play "chicken " golf. The lunch special deals CAN'T BE BEAT. For the money, I know of no other course in the area where you can get Golf AND LUNCH for such a reasonable price. Staff is friendly and at the end of your round, you will feel that you got more than your moneys worth for the day........(your score excluded). "Try'll like it."
Came back and played on 4/3/08 with their "lunch special", its not hotdog, soda and chips but a decent buffet meal incl desert....and as before, we enjoyed the course. there are certain areas of ground under repair in progress and a couple of the greens have been aerated/dressed but still aren't too bad to putt on. Overall, the $25.00 lunch special CAN'T BE BEAT!!. I only wish that those trees would stop jumping out and throwing my balls back at me !!!

Bay Hills is a nice home course providing teh correct amount of difficul;ty for a slightly above average golfer. Summer weekends can be painfully slow so plan to get there early or one the weekdays for the best Bay Hills experience.

Staff very professianal and nice. Challenging course and great price. Played for $29 with cart on weekend. Greens in great shape fairways dormant and hard. Love the course and can't wait to play it in the spring and summer when fairways are green and plush. Well worth the small price.

If you can catch a special, this is the best bang for the buck !

I highly recommend.

Par 70. Well maintained course.
They occasionally have specials: $19 for 18 holes with cart and lunch ! ... Can't beat that !!!
Only 1 par 5. Plenty of challenging par 4's.

The only drawback is that it sometimes gets crowded. At those times the pace can be slow.
