Great course for the MB Interlake and did golf justice.
home of The Doyle Familythis course has a storied history. anyone who has come from winnipeg, gimli, or afar will agree that sandy hook will truly be a test of all the components of old school golf. you must be able to hit a carve, small draw, long iron, stop on a dime or just read the putt correctly to score well here. many rounds i have played thinking i would destroy my best only to have 'the hook' keep me in check. a must play if you are in the area. greens are usually running faster than most and are fairly easy to read. watch for the gusting winds........enjoy the cold beer afterwards......keep it in the green stuff.
