The 9-hole "Fore Kicks" course at the ForeKicks Norfolk facility in Norfolk, Massachusetts features 1,023 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 27. Designed by Brian M. Silva, ASGCA, the Fore Kicks golf course opened in 2002.
Lets start by saying this course is very well maintained for the price of $10 per round. As previously mentioned the turf tee boxes are disappointing as they are too "shallow" to support a tee, however, this course is so short you will not need to use woods. In summary, this course is cheap, well maintained, easy to play, and very short: overall a great practice course for a beginner or intermediate golfer.
This place is pretty good for a par 3 course, and a great place to focus on your swing and not distance. For the last few years I have been going here early in the season as a warm up for regular courses. It is perfect for that. A few times I have been the only one on the course, which made it so much more enjoyable because I could take as much time as I needed. The course is usually maintained surprisingly well, except for one time where there was geese poop everywhere on the last few holes. Good par 3 overall but loses a star for the turf tee boxes (good luck trying to use tees).
I love this course! I live 2 minutes away, and it's only $10 to play, so i go there a lot. It's a great little par 3 with a driving range and chipping/putting green. The staff are very friendly, and I have become friends with most of them. All in all, a great course for a par 3. Good place to take kids.
