The kid at the desk would not honor the coupon from my phone. Played anyway, but was not worth 28 dollars for 9 holes plus cart. This course has 4 par 3's. Would not play again without some sort of discount. Course was in good shape. Greens kind of undulating.

The course has it's challenges and you use every club in your bag. Tough walk, but fun for an hour and a half.

1st, 2nd, 3rd & 9th holes are on top of the old Natick Town dump! Brian Silva designed these holes links style-hit the fairway or lose your ball in the tall grass that slopes heavily downward. After the 3rd hole you walk down for a short walk to the remeaining holes-in an orchard! Talk about change of scenery! 4th hole plays LONG! A bit pricey but never too crowded during the week. The trek (if your walking) up to the 9th tee might test your legs and lungs, but a nice finishing hole.

Great maintenence of course, greens run well, well-rounded staff. A short but tricky course to get the kids started and iron play tuned.

Serviceable and fun

Sassamon does not claim to be Winged Foot but is a fun outing for nine holes when you don't want to drive far and don't want to deal with crowds. A "backyard" course that is satisfying between outings to "great" courses. A little overpriced for what it is, though.

For a course with the history that Sassamon has, it is a quiet fun break from the nearby land of malls. It's what you would expext from a town run facility. Natick holes are short and stay left, no stay waaaaay left. Apple orchards, small pond and chirppy woods make this courses back holes the best.
