This place is always in good condition. Not a tough course but fun to play. You have to remember the average age of the golfers here is like 75, so go to Pine Meadows if you want to have a nice relaxing day, and don't mind the started.

An odd configuration for a course: the 9 holes actually surround the clubhouse! After signing up inside with the nice gentleman, and very un-nice gentleman (the starter) will take your cart key and walk away - no explanation. Driving carts are nowhere in sight. I don't know where my cart came from only that he gruffly told me it was mine. Maybe he was upset I got to go golfing and he didn't? This course starts off with 2 long par 5s. After which, you drive right by the front of the clubhouse again, with it's disgruntled starter, and wait on the 3rd tee, which is always backed up. There are some truly strange holes here - the likes of which I've never seen anywhere else. The 3rd hole looks like you're playing it straight up a hill. No green in sight. The next hole, you might as well be shooting off a cliff. Many holes on this course, as my friend and I called them, were "optical illusions", as the green for another hole, or practice green, would appear to be the green for your hole, when in fact your actual green was tucked away somewhere else! Some truly maddening holes here. I would say it's fairly challenging. It's a fun course to play, just try to keep an open mind when it may look as though you are shooting directly into a tree, when in fact, the green is right behind it.

Nice course for us short hitters

I've played this course on a regular basis for years.I'm not a long hitter by no means but this course gives me a great chance at hitting the greens in regulation.Couple of interesting par 3's makes it a fun course. The signature hole is the par 3 9th,very short downhill shot over water.
