Cape Ann Golf Club, Essex, MA

i play here all the time and i've never had anything close to a negative experience with the staff here.
course is usually pretty green and taken care of, the greens usually take a bit to get up to speed in the summer but once they do, they can be pretty tough.
if you play from the white, the 4th plays as a very long par 4, but the 7th is a manageable par 3 at 197. from the blue the 4th is an easy par 5 but the 7th is a ridiculous par 3 at 235 (hitting onto a green in the middle of a salt marsh).
there's a bar in the clubhouse with a decent selection on tap.
