i play this course once per season. i might stop. For the last 5 years the layout has changed 3 times. the 10th and 18th constantly change. the original played the best because it was the most difficult. Then they changed the tee boxes and fairways. they changed 18 to a par 3 and made the 10th tee the 18th tee and the 18th fairway the 10th fairway. Now they moved the 18th down to where the 10th tee was and the 10th tee back where it was originally except not as long. If they stuck w/ a layout that works and maintained it better i would play here more often. the conditions were actually better this time so it makes me think the course is on the incline.

I played this course yesterday using Golden pass. Played for free. The front 9 hole was good. It had leaves all over the place just like any course would be during fall. However the back 9 was different. Some of the fairway was little rough, The GPS in the cart had no idea where it was going. It said Thank you for playing Bradford...Most disappointing was none of the hole was marked at all, didn't know which hole we were playing. Some holes didn't have direction from one hole to another, we ended up missing playing 1 hole. It was worth playing for free...It was good course but a lot better course nearby compared to Bradford...Oh by the way, pls stay away from slicing or hooking as there are lots of houses on the course.

We played this course in May and I think they forgot to lower the mowers, the grass was soo high even on the fairways, the greens were like putting on sand they were so slow. Also the pro shop seemed like they didn't care if we ever came back. We had $50 coupons for two golfers, on this day only seven of us showed up, (last minute cancellation) instead of charging us half price for the odd man they charged a full $54. We thought this was chicken @$!*% as its never happened before at other golf courses. You would think they would be happy with 7 of us as the course was empty. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS COURSE AGAIN!!!

About 4+ years ago I played Bradford and loved it. The course was in great shape and it was tough. I played earlier this year and I will never go back. I hyped the course up to some of my friends and I ended up looking like a chump. They didn't tell us that the course was under construction and every green was aerated when I booked the tee time. We paid full price and didn't realize the conditions until we got on the course. The GPS unit didn't work on the back 9 because the holes have changed and every fairway was dug up. It shows the character of the ownership to not tell people the course is under construction and the greens are aerated when they book the tee times, then to add insult to injury, charge them full price. I used to tell everyone to try this course, now I tell everyone to avoid it. IF YOU HAVE NEVER PLAYED BRADFORD......DON'T!!

The course looks great (4-'08). The back nine construction is almost completely done (they were edging the bunkers when i went, but there are no machines or backhoes to be found).

The holes wind through a neighborhood, and the holes each do well to present different challenges. I am about a 12-14, and I do not find this course to be overly difficult, so don't worry about that too much if you're a reasonably decent golfer.

The front nine is in great shape. The course is as difficult as described in other reviews. The various hazards and uneven terrain make holes more difficult then they appear. The back 9 is currently under heavy construction (June '07). I recommend that you not play the back nine as there is actually heavy machinery on the course while you are playing the holes. Once the construction is finished, if the back is in the same condition as the front, this course will look great. The staff was very understanding about players concerns regarding the construction. I would call to inquire about the construction before paying $60+ for 18 holes.

Course management

My favorite place. A course with lot of challenges. Front 9 have some holes must carry over a beautifully placed marsh. Back 9 has lots of hills. This place that requires good course management skills. This is not a course for beginner.

Bradford Don't Bother

Tough course, bring lots of balls you'll lose em' in the uncut rough. Course must have been designed by Darth Vader on a bad day. Staff is hostile and unfriendly. Cart broke down, draft beer was warm, lost over 15 golf balls. I think I must have played when the maintainence staff was on vacation. I'd rather play in the median of Rte 495, at least they cut the grass there.

Too Tough

I live 5 minutes from this place and I never play it. I'm a 12 and thats about as many balls I could lose in a round. You can be out of bounds on 2 holes and not know it. too expensive too.
